Michele Privette, MS, ARNP-C
Michele Privette, MS, ARNP-C graduated from the University of Florida with her bachelors degree in Nursing. She then went on to graduate from the University of South Florida earning her Masters in Nursing and a certificate in Addictions. She is a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner from the ANCC. She has 12 years of experience in treating a variety if psychiatric diagnoses which include: Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety, PTSD and Bipolar disorders. Her experience ranges from inpatient/outpatient settings, as well as providing psychiatric consultation to Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. She has also worked with pharmaceutical companies in clinical research drug trials.
Michele enjoys working with adults as well as geriatrics. She does provide some counseling services, however enjoys the psychopharmacology of treating the disorders. She has strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Her goals are to participate and offer the best possible care to the patient to improve their quality of life as well as their mental health.
